MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing proudcts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison cnotrol center.
USES: Vitamins are the buidling blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affcet the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be best taekn with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not litsed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medcial history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not satrt or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison conrtol center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stmoach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prsecription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a prdouct best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosnig schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temeprature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of kids.
